This section contains answers to common problems that users have installing or using Wordswork.

Information will be added to this section as we become aware of issue that users may have with the product.

1. Run Time Errors  

Q: I get the following Error when trying to run Wordswork: M_RunTime Error

A: This error message occurs when you attempt to run the program without the CD-ROM in the disk drive - you MUST have the CD-ROM in the CD drive in order for the program to work.

 

Q: I'm having problems running Wordswork on Windows 2000/Windows XP machine, or I see the error message 'Initialization failed. Not enough memory or the file is damaged' - what should I do?:

If you have installed Wordswork whilst logged in as an administrator, then you may need to check that the access rights on the following directories are set to allow access from all users:

Temp directory:
C:\WINNT\TMP
or:
C:\WINNT\TEMP

C:\WORDS

If you continue to experience problems, please get in touch.
Required Specification  

Minimum system requirements to run Wordswork are as follows:-

Standard MultiMedia PC with:
Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98/NT
Windows compatible sound device
At least 2x CD-ROM drive
VGA graphics
16MB RAM
